About Us

Patient Support Services is a sister company of Spectrum Home Care, our certified home care agency.

We take pride in the services we provide. Our goal is to always treat our clients with dignity and respect. Our staff is trained for our clients, the residents of the American House, the same way they would care for their own family. Our services allow the residents to maintain their independence in their homes, for as long as they are able.

Senior

Our experienced staff participates in a detailed orientation program in a classroom setting. We also do on-site orientation specific to the retirement residence. Our Program Director and Regional Managers customize the services within our realm to meet the residents' needs in each specific location. We are proud of our staff's cheerful and congenial approach in providing care to our clients, the residents of the American House.

We have an extensive documentation process throughout our office and company. Our staff keeps a log of pertinent events of their shift. Each new shift that comes in reviews and initials any events that have occurred since they were last on site. The American House management staff is welcome to review our log at any time. We also maintain a hospital log so that our Nurse and Site Manager can follow up with the residents and families and assist in the coordination of post-hospitalization care or equipment needs.

There is always consistent communication between all disciplines providing care. Our caregivers are on site 24 hours a day to provide around the clock care when and if needed. We do not, however, in any way, replace any type of emergency service that may be needed (please refer to the local 911 for emergencies).

Patient Support Services has been servicing the Tri-County Detroit area for close to nine years. We look forward to continuing our growth in conjuction with your needs.
